    Thats Me
    Thats Me

I am 24 year old Muslim who believes that all faiths can live together in peace and work together to find solutions to the world’s most dire problems. I am one of the Faith Act Fellowsappointed by the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and the Inter Faith Youth Core.  I work with my multi-faith brothers and sisters in eliminating Malaria-related deaths in Africa.

Having graduated from the University of Westminster in Information Systems and Business Management something was missing for me while working in the private sector.  I have since spent countless days and hours working and volunteering with charities and development NGOs. I have been blessed with having the opportunity to travel and visit many projects across the world from post-Tsunami work in Indonesia to fighting malaria in Tanzania.

My faith is a massive inspiration in helping the poor and empowering people to do more. The Quran is soaked with references on how service to people is service to God. The best thing about working with other Faiths is learning about what inspires them to action and sharing what in Islam inspires me to do the same.

My aim in life is to use my knowledge and love for technology and my experiences in development and fuse the two together to play my part in the global fight on poverty.
